Import & export sets

Option sets live on the store, not on a single product, so moving your library between stores is a job of its own. AddOnBoss exports the whole library as one file and recreates it elsewhere with each set’s identity preserved.

Export

On the Option Sets page, Export all sets downloads your library as one file: every set, its options, prices and swatches.

Import

On another store, Import sets reads that file and recreates the sets with their identity intact. Because a product references a set by its identity rather than copying it, any product already attached to a set lines up automatically once the set exists on the new store.

When you would use it

• Staging to live. Build and test your sets on a staging site, then carry the library to the live store in one step.
• Agency work. Keep a house library of sets and drop it into each client store, ready to attach.
• A second store. Share one set library across the stores you run.

Sets are shared with BundleBoss

The same library serves BundleBoss bundles on the same store, so a set you import is available to both plugins at once.
